The collector is activated by pressing
a single button - data is then collected and stored.
Infrared technology allows the barcodes used to
remain hidden. Only correctly read data is stored
in memory so the data files are free of errors.
Checkpoint reads are mathematically verified on
the spot for accuracy and only then is the data
stored with the date and time. |

Bar Code Checkpoints
These high security bar codes have been
covered with opaque, infrared translucent materials
to safeguard against tampering and photocopying.
Reading accuracy and relatively small size provide
security intergrity and unobtrusive installation.
KSI - Self adhesive checkpoint with a durable, infrared
translucent covering which prevents photocopying.
Once installed, it self-destructs if removal is
attempted.
KSI-P - Plastic encapsulated, weatherproof checkpoint
for harsh environments. May be mounted with adhesives
or screws. |

trans Data Transfer Unit
The de trans is the interface between the
de watch and PC. Simply pressing the button on the
de watch allows the stored collector data to be
optically transmitted via the de trans to a PC serial
interface
